Schedule is subject to change without notice. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Weekend classes fill quickly and class sizes are small. Register early to ensure you and your child will receive your At-Home Materials on the first day of class!
REGISTRATION:
Step 1: Call 916-419-6999 or email musikandmotion@yahoo.com for information and to confirm your space in class.
Step 2: Print and complete the registration form and fax it to 530-756-9140, or mail it with your check payable to Sunny S. Kira (see below).
Step 3: Mail your check for your registration fee. Make checks payable to: Sunny S. Kira. Mail to: David Kira, c/o M&M @ Med. Vis. Tech., 635 Anderson Rd., Suite 1, Davis, CA 95616. Be sure to indicate the name of your program and the day and time of your class.
REGISTRATION AND TUITION FEES:
• Your registration fee + tuition fee = total cost of program including your At-Home Materials Kit.
• Your registration fee reserves a place for your child in the class of your choice. Your registration fee includes the high quality At-Home Materials Kit from Kindermusik International which is yours to keep.
• Registration form and fees must be received before the start of class. Your registration fees are non-refundable as your at At-Home Materials Kit will be ordered upon receipt of your check. At-Home Materials Kits may only be given to persons attending class.
• Your tuition fee may be mailed together with your registration fee, or it may be brought to your first day of class. All fees (registration fee plus tuition fee) are due on or before the first day of class.
• In the event the class of your choice does not meet a minimum enrollment, your registration fee and tuition (if paid) will be fully refunded.
MUSIKANDMOTION STUDIO POLICIES
WARRANTEE, REFUND, OR WITHDRAWAL POLICY:
• 100% satisfaction is guaranteed! If you are not completely satisfied with your Kindermusik experience after attending 5 consecutive weeks (research and experience have shown that it takes babies and young children at least 3-5 weeks to adjust to their learning environment), your tuition fee will be refunded, less 20% for processing. For Adventures Camp sessions, your tuition will be refunded less 20% processing after attending 3 consecutive sessions.
• Registration fees are non-refundable as your At-Home Materials are ordered upon receipt of your registration fees and are yours to keep.
RETURNED CHECKS:
• There is a $35 charge for returned checks to cover our costs.
CLASS MAKE-UP POLICY AND SCHEDULE CHANGES:
• Missed classes may be made up only within the current semester of enrollment. A caregiver, nanny or family relative is welcome to bring your child to class in the event you can't attend the make-up class.
• If your child has a fever, is vomitting or has cold/flu symptoms, please keep him or her at home for the well-being of everyone and call or email to schedule your make-up class(es). If your child is just teething and has a runny nose, then by all means bring her to class.
• If a class is canceled by the instructor due to illness or personal emergency the session will be made-up or refunded at a prorated hourly rate.
SIBLING DISCOUNTS:
• Receive 50% off on your second child's At-Home Materials when you enroll her in a different curriculum (Not applicable for Family Time programs). Siblings enrolled in the same curriculum receive additional discounts on your second child's At-Home Materials Kits.
ESSENTIAL CLASS INFORMATION - PLEASE READ PRIOR TO REGISTRATION
NO SHOES, PLEASE:
Children learn best when they can utilize all of their senses, including their bare feet! It also keeps our floors clean for everyone, especially our youngest learners who spend most of their time on the floor. Parents are welcome to wear nonskid socks; parts of our floors are laminate and can be slippery.
NON-ENROLLED SIBLINGS:
Due to limited class sizes and our goal of one-on-one, parent-child interaction, we ask that those enrolled in our classes make arrangements for non-enrolled siblings during weekly class times - or consider our Family Time classes. Thank you for helping us promote the very best possible learning environment for all our students and families.
PROMOTING AN OPTIMAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT:
• Children are constantly on the move (don't we wish we had their energy?) and in our Kindermusik classes, we take advantage of this boundless energy and transform it into musical and creative possibilities for our children. However, unsupervised running in close proximity to other children of varying ages is unsafe for everyone involved. In order to ensure a safe learning environment for everyone, please remind your child to use his or her "walking feet" in our studio.
• Just as adults, children have good as well as bad days. Fortunately, music brings out the best in all of us! At times, your child may experience an "off day." Try to give your child a break from the class to regroup. Sometimes, that may be all a child needs, and a little talk from you.
• If on the other hand, a child is demonstrating unsafe and aggressive behavior (biting, kicking, hitting, or throwing objects) towards others and studio property, your child will be warned or if necessary, dismissed from class early. In the event there is a second offense, you will be asked to take your child home for the remainder of class time as well as the next class. A third offense will result in dismissal from the semester program for the safety of others. Musikandmotion reserves all rights to dismiss a child from the program if the safety of children, adults, and property are involved.
OUTSIDE FOOD, DRINKS, AND TOYS:
Please refrain from bringing outside food, drinks, or toys to our class time. If there are any special needs we should be aware of, please inform your instructor.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES & CUSTOMIZED CLASSES:
• Yes! Kindermusik birthday parties are now available for children ages newborn to 5 years! You can also customize a semester long Kindermusik class just for you, your closest friends and family, at our studio. Please contact us for more details.

• Would you like to preview a Kindermusik class in progress? Come and visit a class at Musikandmotion. Contact us to arrange an appointment.

• If you have a child currently enrolled in a Kindermusik class at Musikandmotion, and you are expecting a new addition to your family, we'd like to offer you and your baby a FREE At-Home Materials Kit when you enroll in a Kindermusik Village Half-Semester class at Musikandmotion! It's our way of welcoming your musical baby into our Kindermusik community
