BIRTHDAY PARTIES!

• Summer Camp (B) runs for 5 weeks from July 14 - August 24, 2008. No classes will be held the week of July 28 - August 2, 2008.

• To ensure delivery of your At-Home Materials by the first day of class, please register for classes and send in your deposit at least (2) weeks before the first day of class: JUNE 30, 2008 FOR CAMP (B)!!!

SUMMER CAMP 2008 - RANCHO CORDOVA CLASSES HAVE BEEN CANCELED... We appologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Schedule is subject to change without notice. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Our small classes fill quickly! Register early to ensure you and your child will receive your At-Home Materials on the first day of class!

TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES:

Step 1: Call 916-419-6999 or email musikandmotion@yahoo.com to inquire space availability.

Step 2: Print and complete the registration form and mail it with your deposit check payable to Sunny S. Kira (see below). You may also fax your form to 530-756-9140 and mail check separately.

Step 3: Please make checks payable to: Sunny S. Kira. Mail to: David Kira, c/o M&M @ Med. Vis. Tech., 635 Anderson Rd., Suite 1, Davis, CA 95616. Be sure to indicate the name of your program and the day and time of your class.

DEPOSIT AND REMAINING BALANCE:

• Your deposit at the time of registration secures a place for your child in the class of your choice. Your deposit includes the high quality At-Home Materials Kit from Kindermusik International and is non refundable. Home Materials Kits may only be given to persons attending class.

• Your remaining balance may be mailed together with your deposit, or it may be brought to your first day of class. A full payment is due on or before the first day of class. Registration form and fees must be received before the start of class.

• In the event a class is full, you may choose to be placed on a wait list. You will be notified if a spot is available.

• In the event the class of your choice does not meet a minimum enrollment and is cancelled, your registration fee and/or tuition, if paid, will be fully refunded.
 

MUSIKANDMOTION STUDIO POLICIES

WARRANTEE, REFUND, OR WITHDRAWAL POLICY:

• 100% satisfaction is guaranteed! If you are not completely satisfied with your Kindermusik experience after attending 3 consecutive weeks in the class you are enrolled (research and experience have shown that it takes young children time and consistency to adjust to their social environment), your tuition fee will be fully refunded.

• A deposit is non-refundable as it secures a spot in class, and pays for your At-Home Materials from Kindermusik International which include tax, shipping and handling. Once purchased, your At-Home Materials are yours to keep.

RETURNED CHECKS:

• There is a $35 charge for returned checks to cover our costs.

CLASS MAKE-UP POLICY AND SCHEDULE CHANGES:

• Missed classes may be made up only within the current semester of enrollment. A caregiver, nanny or family relative is welcome to bring your child to class in the event you can't attend the make-up class. Please call 916-419-6999 or email musikandmotion@yahoo.com to schedule your make-up class.

• If your child has a fever, is vomitting or has cold/flu symptoms, please keep him or her at home for the well-being of everyone and call or email to schedule your make-up class(es). If your child is just teething and has a runny nose, then by all means bring her to class.

• If a class is canceled by the instructor due to illness or personal emergency the session will be made-up or refunded at a prorated hourly rate.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS:

• Receive 50% off on your second child's total fees when you enroll her in the same curriculum. Siblings enrolled in a different curriculum receive 25% off total fees.

YOUR REFERRALS ARE APPRECIATED:

• Take home a free Kindermusik instrument each time your new-to-Kindermusik friends register for classes @ Musikandmotion!

MID-SEMESTER ENROLLMENT IS WELCOME:

• Mid-semester enrollment is always welcome as long the class is not full. For home materials ordered after the semester has begun, there may be an additional $10 service charge for shipping cost from Kindermusik International.

ESSENTIAL CLASS INFORMATION - PLEASE READ PRIOR TO REGISTRATION

NO SHOES, PLEASE:

Children learn best when they can utilize all of their senses, including their bare feet! It also keeps our floors clean for everyone, especially our youngest learners who spend most of their time on the floor. If you prefer your child wear socks, please consider non-skid version; part of the flooring is laminate and can be slippery.

NON-ENROLLED SIBLINGS & VISITING GUESTS:

Please check the class schedule to see which class is open to non-enrolled siblings who are 8 months and younger. Due to insurance policies and Kindermusik licensing requirements regarding class size, we regret that most classes cannot accommodate non-enrolled siblings. We also want to help facilitate the goal of one-on-one, parent-child interaction, so we ask that those enrolled in our classes make arrangements for non-enrolled siblings during weekly class times - or consider our Multi-age Family Time classes. Thank you for helping us to promote the very best possible learning environment for all our students and families.

Visiting grandparents, family members and friends (adults & children) are most welcome, but please let us know in advance to make sure there is room in class!

PROMOTING AN OPTIMAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT:

• Children are constantly on the move (don't we wish we had their energy?) and in our Kindermusik classes, we take advantage of this boundless energy and transform it into musical and creative possibilities for our children. However, unsupervised running is unsafe (particularly in close proximity to other children of varying ages). In order to ensure a safe learning environment for everyone, please remind your child to use his or her "walking feet" in our studio or hold your child's hand if he or she must run.

• Just as adults, children have good as well as bad days. Fortunately, music brings out the best in all of us! At times, your child may experience an "off day." Try to give your child a break from the class to regroup. Sometimes, that may be all a child needs, and a little talk from you.

• If on the other hand, a child is demonstrating unsafe and aggressive behavior (biting, kicking, hitting, or throwing objects) towards others and studio property, your child will be warned or if necessary, dismissed from class early. In the event there is a second offense, you will be asked to take your child home for the remainder of class time as well as the next class. A third offense will result in dismissal from the semester program for the safety of others. Musikandmotion reserves all rights to dismiss a child from the program if the safety of children, adults, and property are involved.

OUTSIDE FOOD, DRINKS, TOYS:

For the comfort of everyone, please refrain from bringing outside food, drinks, or toys to our class time. If there are any special needs we should be aware of, please inform your instructor.

FUN STUFF! 

BIRTHDAY PARTIES & CUSTOMIZED CLASSES:

• Yes! Kindermusik birthday parties are now available for children ages newborn to 5 years! You can also customize a semester long Kindermusik class just for you, your closest friends and family, at our studio. Please contact us for more details.

CLASS PREVIEWS:

• Would you like to preview a Kindermusik class in progress? Come and visit a class at Musikandmotion with no obligations-- pay for class only when you decide to enroll in the semester. Contact us to arrange an appointment. Available to first time Kindermusik families @ Musikandmotion, please.

• Families currently enrolled in Kindermusik @ Musikandmotion are always welcome to arrange to have a new-to-Kindermusik friend visit a class during the semester!
